UK Status Resident. Fairly common and widely distributed throughout the British Isles. Montgomeryshire Status Discovered in the west of the county at Morben ISAF in 2011. Wingspan : M & F, 10-13mm. Confusion species Care should be taken as other species of Argyresthia can look very similar. |

(Univoltine)  Habitat Wherever the foodplant is found. Foodplant Sallow or willow. Lifestage data Shoot miner. Eggs laid on the foodplant. Larva mines a young shoot, causing it to droop. Pupates in feeding place or on the ground. |
